The Happiness Project

I read "What Mac and Cheese, The Sopranos, and the Harry Potter Books Have in Common" by Gretchen Rubin. And really, what does Mac and Cheese, The Sopranos, and Harry Potter books have in common? Cause I don't really see that much of a theme. That is what I thought when I saw the title of the article. The article was very relaxed and I felt like I was reading something my best friend wrote or under those lines and overall it just made me think about what my "comfort food" as she calls it is, when really it doesn't have to be a food, it can be watching something or doing something. Something that makes you calm and de-stress and pick up a down mood. I think this article can connect with anyone during this hard economy time period or at even any period. It opens your mind to think of what makes you happy, and it doesn't have to be a person like a boyfriend-girlfriend-wife-husband-friend-ect. But a thing, a place, just anything. I thought about it after reading the article and while writing this, I asked myself "what is my 'comfort food'..what makes me happy?" And I thought of over a hand-full of things that cheer me up and comfort me. This article did its purpose, made me the reader think and really think about what my "comfort food" was. And I passed the link onto others who then found their comfort.
