My mother and my aunt have been large influences in my life. I learned almost everything i know from them. They were the people who saw potential in me when i saw nothing. They always wanted me to stay on top of my business rather than be lazy about it. They also show me how stong a black woman can be at the weakest of times. the money would never stay around for them, but they always found a way to keep me, my siblings and cousins taken care of. Both of them raised their families without a father figure around for the children. Another thing about them is their professionalism. they can network and make friends with almost anbody. They are viewed by many of my family members as the backbone, the people that help to keep us focused on what's important in life. Everything that I do, I try to do my best at it because I know working hard at something that's positive or important to them would make them proud of me.
