more cash!

If I was president and could change anything I wanted, I think one of the first things I would change is to increase minimum wage. I know there are probably errors or something that would reflect on this, but I am only just a college art student, not an economist, even those who are economist aren’t doing the best job right now, hah. I think if the minimum wage was at least $10.00 an hour it would solve a few issues. I know there are some states like Indiana that have minimum wages of like 5.45 or 6.00 dollars an hour or something, which to me, is so unbearable. The job I have now, has started me off at 9.00 dollars an hour, and I believe this has been able to made me manage more than a person who only make 6.00 dollars an hour. The fact of making 9.00 dollars an hour, I can now afford rent to live in my own apartment, groceries, school supplies, and personal expenses. Not only do I think it will give people more of an opportunity to manage their own lives, but it may help the economy. I figure, if you are making more money, you can afford basic needs and also personal expenses and leisure way. Therefore, if people have more money to spend then they would go out more, thus making businesses more active.

  1. Great post, and let me just say I wrote mines before reading yours lol in case you think I'm biting on the whole minimum wage thing. The end where you said thus making business more active is really true, more money is kind of a problem solve, the Gov. needs to stop being so stingy. Man I wish I got paid $10 an hour.
