The U.S. Needs FREE HEALTH CARE!!!!

If I were the next President of the United States, it would very difficult for me to figure out what to use my free pass on. There are so many issues that the country faces right now and the elimination of any one of them would help tremendously. If I absolutely had to pick one, I would go all the way with Universal Health Care. The current President is on the right track in terms of wanting to start by making health care affordable to anyone that wants it, but there are a few flaws in his plan. He relies on the current health care system to make his plan work. I believe that health care should be, to put it simply, FREE!!! The concept of free health care isn't unheard of. This type of system works in countries like Germany, Switzerland, and France. The drawback, because there's always a drawback, is that taxes would go up significantly. I understand that people in this country get really freaked out by higher taxes, but when that money is going towards something that people can understand, tax payers are able to accept it. On the same point, most middle class families that freak out about higher taxes do so because the cost of health care is so high that they simply can't afford to pay for both. If health care were free, much of the personal debt that individuals and families incur would go away and the cost of living would likely go down as well.
