The one thing that came to mind..

If I was president and had the power and the chance to have one miraculously thing change and improve, it will be quite simply "More jobs". Whether you have a college education or not, jobs should be available to anyone who strives to work not just to support their self but also their family. Of course if you have an education than you will be making more than someone who doesn't, but some people just do not like school, they do not enjoy being there, they do not enjoy waking up at a certain time and traveling a certain distance and staying there for a certain time working, but not making money doing so. Although most people who go to school know that being there is actually making more money for the future, but still, school is just not for everybody. I admit that school is not for me, but I am there, I am here, because I know if you want to make good money, you need an education. Nowadays you need an education to get a steady job, you need experience, you need a connection (a relative or a friend). I have friends who are applying and hoping to land a job here and there but there is just no luck by where they are staying by and they need a job more than I do. I work at Walgreen's and it took me almost roughly a year to land that job through, of course, a connect. If everyone had decent jobs; can afford decent homes, apartments, and also afford a family and a normal life, than maybe this country will be a lot better off. There will always be some sort of competition in this world, but the competitive nature in finding a job and to live healthy and support a family should maybe be a little less competitive than other things. If I was president, if you really wanted to work, you would be able to, no doubt about it. If it would be possible to squeeze an extra small thing in there as far as miraculous things changing over night, I would also raise the minimum wage by two dollars. I think a lot more people would be happier and happiness is what people strive for so, why not.
